Meal Plan of the Week: Weight Loss with Multiple Food Dislikes
Mar 22, 2023This week's Meal Plan of the Week is for a person wanting to lose some weight, however, is very particular about what they will eat.
The meal plan was not a prescriptive meal plan as such. We provided interchangeable options so that the person has 7 different breakfasts, lunches & dinners to try. These options then fit their calorie, protein and fibre targets while catering to their food preferences. We are in the process of building a recipe eBook feature. So instead of creating a meal plan, you can create a recipe eBook full of recipes that are individualised to a person's needs/wants.
This meal plan excluded eggs, avocado, and most sauces and spices.
Here's what we achieved:
🏃Energy: 1800Calories/day
💪Protein: 140g/day
🚽Fibre: 41g/day
🧂Sodium: 1800mg/day
The client is reasonably active but has struggled to lose weight due to being stuck in a loop with what foods they could eat. The meals chosen were at an unknown calorie level, which ultimately resulted in weight gain.
