Meal Plan of the Week: Simple, Low Carb, High Protein
Mar 10, 2023This week's meal plan of the week was for a busy lady who is working multiple jobs and is short on time.
This lady had weight loss surgery some years ago, and is struggling to maintain her weight.
Her requests were for a simple meal plan that is high in fibre and protein (to help with hunger) and also low carb as this has worked well for her in the past.
Our client is yet to start exercising and has had success with 1200 Calories in the past also.
Here's what we achieved.
ā”Energy = 1200 Calories/day
šŖProtein = 132g/day
šCarbs = 64g/day
š½Fibre = 34g/day
š§Sodium = 1624mg/day
The plan is low carb, however almost 50% of the carbs are at breakfast.
We exceeded the suggested dietary target for fibre of 28g/day for females, by reaching 34g.
We also kept the sodium intake well under the recommended limit of 2000mg.
